Spike

My concept for an adult Spike, ready for the 'sad ending' alternate universe that's been floating around in my head for months now. Twilight's death causes a chain reaction of sorts, seeming to affect everyone in Equestria. Filled with grief at the loss of the only family he's ever known, Spike pulls away from his remaining friends and returns to Canterlot and Celestia's side. He becomes her aide and, eventually, when she dissolves the monarchy in order to better focus on protecting her citizens, becomes her squire. Much of his time is spent travelling with and aiding Celestia, training under her and fighting alongside her. He is determined to become strong, so that he can protect the ones he loves and be of use in times of need.
